This accel pump boot is specifically for
1983.5-1986 720 "NISSAN" Pickups with the Z24 NAPS-Z engine
If your Hitachi downdraft carburetor is working just fine and only needs the accelerator pump boot, this part will save you some money versus buying a whole carburetor overhaul kit just to get the boot
Also, it has been reported in the Datsun/Nissan enthusiast communities that the boots that come in aftermarket carburetor kits do not last as long as the OE factory boots do
