Ignition Coil For Points Ignition Datsun 240Z 510 1200 B110 311 Roadster 520 521 Pickup Truck
This is the smaller 12 volt coil for 1972 and earlier points ignitions
You can use this coil with any Datsun points ignition, but the 1973 and later (HP5-13E11 & C6R-205) points ignition coils were larger, and had a split-metal bracket band
Specs from the FSM:
Primary resistance 1.5 to 1.7 ohms
Secondary resistance: 9.5 to 11.6 ohms
Can replace Hitachi coil C6R-200 for use with points
This coil must be used with a 1.6 ohm resistor

NOTICE:
Unlike the original coils where the white lettering was inked directly onto the coil,
the lettering is now on a sticker that is affixed to the coil
