CAUTION!
While this guide will allow you to restore the timing chain tension without using cam tower shims after cutting a lot of material off of the bottom of the head, it is NOT a drop-in cure-all for slack timing chains on L engines where the cylinder head has been cut down severely
On L engines, adjustments and modifications must be made to this part, such as slotting the mounting holes, and increasing the curvature of the top section in order for the chain to have a smooth transition onto and off of this guide
If you have not done this mod before, it is recommended that you consult with someone who has done this mod prior to doing it yourself
