This Genuine Nissan fusible link assy is specifically for the 1983.5 1984 1985 and 1986 "Nissan" 720 pickup truck with the carbureted Z20 & Z24 engines, but it will also work just fine on the 1981 1982 1983.0 "Datsun" trucks with the Z22 engine.
The only difference is that the 81-83.0 models do not use the reddish-brown wires and plug.
You can snip them off, or tie them securely out of the way in case you might want to use them for something later
The California-spec 720's use a slightly different version of this link that has an extra wire or two on it
We can modify this link assy to match that if we have a picture to go by.
