Unlike aftermarket units which are rebuilt by culling together useable parts from core units and assembling them into a unit that tests as functional, Hitachi used all new parts to remanufacture their products
This is a direct drive starter
It can be used to replace the gear reduction starter on the later L6 cars, but it is a bit less powerful, and probably not a good option if you have high compression, or operate it in a high stress / high heat environment, such as on a race car
This Genuine Nissan starter is NLA from Nissan
It will be shipped in a USPS Medium Flat Rate Box unless there is a cheaper option available
